Information for EVICAB students

Before you apply

Before applying for EVICAB course, please contact a local responsible person in your own university. If you need more information, you can contact the responsible person of each course. More information is available in Course Recognition of EVICAB Courses in University Programs Moodle is the e-learning platform for EVICAB courses. It is used to distribute course materials and instructions, to communicate with teachers and peers, to collect results.

Course timetables:

Students need to find out the timetable for each course separately.

Methods of instructions:

Course requirements may vary depending on the course. Some courses are video lecture-based and there is an examination at the end of the course. In addition to lectures, a course may include problem-solving assignments, individual or group project work or laboratory work. It is important that you follow the information in the learning platform to find out details about course arrangements and requirements for completing the course (i.e., obligatory exercises, assignments, exact timetable, exams and other details).


All courses and activities in EVICAB are conducted in English.

Internet examination

The examination will be arranged on the Internet. More information can be found from the Internet Exam page.

Grading system

Examination and assessment results are expressed in many different grading systems in Europe. To help institutions interpret the grades awarded to students, the ECTS grading scale is used. The European Credit Transfer System ECTS is based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme, objectives preferably specified in terms of learning outcomes and competences to be acquired. Grades will be converted according to the grading system in your own university.
